Logitech 970285 0403 X 240 2 1 Speakers Black

The stow-away MP3 cradle makes the Logitech X-240 speakers more than just a great speaker system for your computer. Connect your digital audio player with the included auxiliary cable, or use your own USB/power cable to sync, charge and play digital music from your iPod, Zune, PDA or mobile phone. Dynamic, real-time bass equalization maximizes bass response from the down-firing subwoofer while high-excursion drivers provide rich sound from the slim, stylish satellites.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars I love the sound but the dock is a bit hokey
I have had logitec speakers in the past and i loved them. And with the price at %40 off these were the easy choice. The sound is good for computer speakers. The dock for the MP3 player should have just been an iPod dock instead of trying to work for everything. You have to use two hands to remove the iPod from the dock so that the dock doesn’t come apart. Also the cables run down the face of the dock and obstruct access to the power button. So my only complaint is the dock otherwise 5 stars.

5 Stars Happy Buyer
I purchased these Logitech speakers about three weeks ago and I am more than pleased with their sound. I heard them live at Target, where they cost $50, and I would’ve have spent that if I hadn’t seen the Amazon listing Hooked-up to my Toshiba laptop, they are performing beautifully and provide more than enough great sound whether at low or high volume. I use the iTunes equalizer settings and get good balance between treble and bass and, for the first time, midrange values offer detail than I usually hear only from my home stereo. At around $30 from Amazon, I couldn’t ask for a better solution for my home office music pleasure. Note: I don’t use the iPOd cradle although having an easy to find volume switch makes it worthwhile.

5 Stars In Love!
For the price I’ve paid, these are the best speakers I’ve ever had. I had $100 speakers before, and then I bought these, and I think the set up and quality of these are better! Great full sound! Bass is easily adjusted, and for the size packs a mighty punch! Very impressive. The mp3 stand is also really great, and comes with an adapter for any zune or iPod that allows you to listen to your mp3 player with your speakers while it charges! Just an all around great item! Highly recommended.

1 Star Does not work any longer
I loved the sound when I first got it. I am very disappointed as I haven’t used it in a couple months and now there is nothing. I thought spending more for these that it would last a long time as I only use it when I get emails that require volume.

How do I get it replaced AMazon?

2 Stars Stay Away From This!
First of let me give you a quick background.

I gave my old speakers (X-230’s) to my brother and bought the X-240’s expecting about the same performance if not better + an mp3 dock…

I terribly mistaken! The X-230’s is superior to the X-240 in practically every way. The X-240’s sound is flat (probably cause there is only one speaker per satellite) and I occasionally get a VERY ANNOYING “crack and pop” sound coming from the speakers. Keep in mind that I never blast the my music (volume is at a considerable level). The popping becomes unbearable when playing PC games or listening to music. The thing that is irritating is that it doesn’t always “crack and pop.” So yo can be playing a game / listening to music and it will randomly start. It totally ruins your listening experience.

At first I thought maybe I just had a defective piece but there are many people like my self suffering from the “cracking and popping” (check out some online forums). I am not even going to bother trying to send it to Logitech. This product makes Logitech look bad.

I ordered the Logitech Z-2300’s to replace this garbage.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Great receiver for the price
I wanted a simple-to-setup, easy to use receiver, and this was the perfect fit. I don’t use many of the capabilities of the Yamaha, so forgive the simplicity of the review, but it certainly gave new life to my Bose speakers and worked flawlessly with my Samsung DVR, Sony DVD-VCR combo, Sharp television, and DirecTV satellite.

One minor flaw - the remote wasn’t as easy to use as I would have liked. Still, for $199, this is a great receiver.

5 Stars Surround Sound for $200!!!
I wanted to set up a 3.1 surround for watching movies and to take advantage of the surround encoding used in most of the broadcasts now but didn’t want to spend too much money. This AV receiver fits the bill. I did a bunch of research and decided that this receiver should give me enough inputs and switching, relatively easy setup and nice features. I am not disappointed.

Some have complained about the HDMI not switching audio but this is clearly spelled out and very common in entry level receivers. You won’t get all the features but hey, it only cost $200.

5 Stars It Made Our HD World Perfect
My husband was diagnosed with terminal cancer last summer. We didn’t have a lot of money to play with after his illness; but he did have a “Bucket List” of things he wanted to have or do before his time comes. One of the the things on his list was a High Def TV. We got a Sony Bravia 42.”

The problem was that once you get HDTV, you need accessories. For instance, my 18 year old Kenwood receiver no longer picked up the HD sound, which meant my 18 year old Bose towers no longer worked with the TV or new Panasonic Blu-Ray player.

The boy that helped me at local “geek” store tried to sell me a new home theater system, the cheapest good one being $1000.00. And then he said with a sigh “It still won’t sound as good as your old Bose towers.” At least he was honest and told me that all I needed was a new receiver!

I looked high and low for a decent receiver that would fit my empty wallet, and husbands desires. I purchased this one after researching reviews and crossed my fingers.

I could not be more happy. It was easy to set up, easy to work, and I have my old Bose towers back in full force pumping out the finest sound that I can imagine. I also got the dock for our I-Touch and I am happier than I can say, in that I have been able to make my husbands last wishes come true. I do believe that this receiver was cheaper than what I paid for my old Kenwood almost 20 years ago.

My son would tell you that his only problem with this receiver was that it stopped him from getting my Bose towers (he got the old system… minus the Bose).

Thank you Amazon reviewers for helping me make this wonderful purchase.

4 Stars Not Bad at All
Pretty good receiver for the money. Great sound compared to my last receiver, which was an Onkyo that did a good job, but didn’t compare to this one for depth and clarity. I bought an iPod dock, and it works nicely with it.

Only drawbacks: As others have stated, the manual is a nightmare, even if you are electronically inclined. I studied it for a couple of days before I started getting the hang of setting the unit up. The remote could have been a little easier to use as well. And lastly, I have a dish network DVR receiver, and the remote will neither code it in or search-find it, so I am stuck using 2 remotes to watch dish tv.

All in all, I would highly recommend the unit to others for the deep, rich sound. Movies sound amazing.

5 Stars Good value, decent features and performance
Suitable for use with similarly priced speakers and other components. Sounds good. We use it in my son’s room with Bic Venturi speakers and JBL subwoofer and it rocks the house. Access to secondary features is kind of obscure, don’t loose that remote. Looks good. Seems well made.

Premium Black Folio Wallet Leather Case for Apple Ipod Touch Itouch 8Gb 16GB 32Gb 2G 2nd Generation

Premium Black Folio Wallet Leather Case for Apple Ipod Touch Itouch 8Gb 16GB 32Gb 2G 2nd Generation

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Absolutely Satisfied
I was absolutely happy with this purchase. After much researching of the different cases for the Ipod touch gen 2, I decided on this. This is a great value and very high quality. Because of its padding, I know that my Ipod is well protected. All buttons and cable can easily be accessed even while in the case. To me this is a no brainer compared to those “gel/silicone” cases or other types. I like the magnetic closure because I can wrap the earbud wire around the ipod and then close the case keeping the wire intact.

5 Stars Snazzy cover for my 2G
This cover fits my iPod Touch 2G very well and I have had no problems with the closure. It looks really nice and protects my 2G when it’s floating around in my purse.

5 Stars Very good case
I’ve searched several websites and stores for my Ipod touch 2nd generation. Most of them are for 1st generation. Fortunately, I found this leather case. My Ipod touch fits tightly into this fine leather case. The side openings are perfectly designed for the side buttons and connections. The magnet stands on the spot without any effort. I highly recommend it because of its cheap price, good quality and good design.

5 Stars It looks really good
When I decided to buy this product, there was only 1 review and it was a bad one. I decided to buy it anyway and I’m glad I did. I haven’t experienced any problems with the product. I prefer the idea of a magnetic closure over a velcro type. The iPod Touch 2nd G looks really good in it, and with a little plastic screen protector (which you have to buy separately), my new toy is super extra big-time safe from all the sharp & pokey things in my purse or pockets. It’s not that expensive, so why not try it? That’s what I thought anyway, and once again, I’m glad I did.

2 Stars Too big for 2G
The case is a very nice soft leather with padding. However, the fit is too loose for my iTouch 2G. Also, the closure is magnetic and you have to push on it very hard for it to connect.

4 Stars iPod Touch Hard-Shell Case
This iPod “Touch” Hard-Shell Case protects the touch screen pretty well - especially if you have kids that may not be as gentle with expensive items as you may be…

5 Stars This case will save your ipod
Just as the title says. This case will save the look of your ipod touch. I use my ipod every day and work and I have only taken it out of the case about 5 time. The metal back of the ipod touch looks like I just pulled it out of the box. Also the case comes with a protective film to put on over the screen. This screen is great and helps save the ipod screen. I cant say enough good things about this case from the price to the durability of the case. for any iphone/ipod touch owner this is a must have product.

3 Stars Ipod Case
The case works well, however scratches are visible on the front cover. It is also very hard to get the case off once it is put on. Using a larger coin such as a nickle to remove the case is suggested.

3 Stars Well…
I end up return this item because i thought 1G and 2G are the same size!! But still, Griffin rocks!!

4 Stars iPod Touch Clear Hard-Shell Case
The hard-shell clear case for the iPod Touch is a very easily used accessory. Compared to other cases it is inexpensive in price and relatively easy to use. If you want a simple case for you iPod Touch, this is the one to buy.

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star Does not fit 3G iPhone, I question the workmanship
My review will provide conflicting information to previous reviews. That said I provide my review in good faith hoping it will prevent another buyer from encountering the same problem.

This car charger does NOT fit 3g iPhones. I purchased this car charger at WalMart which sells it a dollar cheaper then the lowest price currently listed on Amazon (1 Feb, 2009.) When the first unit would not attach where the base of the phone connects to the charging cord, I returned it for an exchange. With permission from WalMart Management I opened a second (and subsequently two additional) units to see if they would fit my iPhone. None of the Griffin PowerJolt Car Chargers would attach. To assure myself my iPhone wasn’t at issue, I was allowed to open a different manufacturer’s product and that car charger fit correctly.

I strongly recommend you try this product before buying it. If other members are able to connect this to their 3G iPhone then there are significant differences in the quality and workmanship found in this Griffin product line.

Respectfully submitted, K.K. Seacoast, New Hampshire

3 Stars Adequate - could be better
Works as advertised. I think the cord is about a foot too short. Besides that, it works as advertised.

4 Stars It works…
Wasn’t too happy that my 3G iPhone would not charge with my iPod auto charger, but fortunately this one is not expensive, and works just fine.

4 Stars Works great though cable length could not be enough for you
Works great with my iPhone and it does what I needed to do which is recharge the phone while I’m on the car. However, if you are the type of person that likes to talk while recharging then the cable might not let you drive and talk and charge at the same time. You can extend the cable but still it is far from being comfortable. Anyway, it does what I needed so I’m happy with it.

5 Stars iPod Touch 2.0: It Works!
I was skeptical at first since the sync cable from the 1st generation Touch won’t work for the 2nd generation. No worries. It works. You could pay $26 at Best Buy, but why?

Also, personal preferences being what they are, I prefer a black cable to a white one in my car. YMMV.
